　　耶和华是我的旌旗（出17：15）。　　　神若帮助我们，谁能敌挡我们呢？（罗8：31）。有耶和华帮助我，我必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢（诗118：6）？　　　你把旌旗赐给敬畏你的人（诗60：4）。　
　　耶和华是我的亮光，是我的拯救，我还怕谁呢？耶和华是我性命的保障，我还惧谁呢？虽有军兵安营攻击我，我的心也不害怕；虽然兴起刀兵攻击我，我必仍旧安稳（诗27：1，3）。

　　神使我在受苦的地方昌盛（创4l：52）。　　　愿颂赞归与我们的主耶稣基督的父　神，就是发慈悲的父，赐各样安慰的　神。我们在一切患难中，他就安慰我们，叫我们能用　神所赐的安慰去安慰那遭各样患难的人。我们既多受基督的苦楚，就靠基督多得安慰（林后1：3…5）。　　　你们如今在百般的试炼中暂时忧愁，叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验仍然能坏的金子更显宝贵，可以在耶稣基督显现的时候，得着称赞、荣耀、尊贵（彼前1：6，7）。有主站在我旁边加给我力量（提后4：17）。　那照　神旨意受苦的人要一心为善，将自己灵魂交与那信实的造化之主（彼前4：19）。　God　hath　caused　me　to　be　fruitful　in　the　land　of　my　affliction。　　　　　　　　　　Blessed　be　God；　even　the　Father　of　our　Lord　Jesus　Christ；　the　Father　of　mercies；　and　the　God　of　all　fort；　who　forteth　us　in　all　our　tribulation；　that　we　may　be　able　to　fort　them　which　are　in　any　trouble；　by　the　fort　wherewith　we　ourselves　are　forted　of　God。　For　as　the　sufferings　of　Christ　abound　in　us；　so　our　consolation　also　aboundeth　by　Christ。
