　　你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来（提后2：1）。　　　照他荣耀的权能，得以在各样的力上加力（西1：11）。你们既然接受了主基督耶稣，就当遵他而行，在他里面生根建造，信心坚固，正如你们所领的教训，感谢的心也更增长了（西2：6，7）。使他们称为公义树，是耶和华所栽的，叫他得荣耀（赛61：3）。你们被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶稣自己为房角石，各房靠他联络得合式，渐渐成为主的圣殿。你们也靠他同被建造，成为　神藉着圣灵居住的所在（弗2：20…22）。　　　如今我把你们交托　神和他恩惠的道。这道能建立你们，叫你们和一切成圣的人同得基业（徒20：32）。靠着耶稣基督结满了仁义的果子，叫荣耀称赞归与　神（腓1：11）。　你要为真道打那美好的仗（提前6：12）。凡事不怕敌人的惊吓（腓1：28）。　　Be　strong　in　the　grace　that　is　in　Christ　Jesus。

　　本为可怒之子，和别人一样（弗2：3）。　　　我们从前也是无知，悖逆，受迷惑，服侍各样私欲和宴乐，常存恶毒、嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨（多3：3）。　　　我说：你们必须重生，你不要以为希奇（约3：7）。　　　约伯回答耶和华说：我是卑贱的！我用什么回答你呢？只好用手捂口（伯40：3，4）。

　　你们各人的重担要互相担当，如此，就完全了基督的律法（加6：2）。　各人不要单顾自己的事，也要顾别人的事。你们当以基督耶稣的心为心。他取了奴仆的形像（腓2：4，5，7）。人子来，并不是要受人的服侍，乃是要服侍人，并且要舍命，作多人的赎价（可10：45）。他替众人死，是叫那些活着的人，不再为自己活，乃为替他们死而复活的主活（林后5：15）。耶稣看见他哭，并看见与他同来的犹太人也哭，就心里悲叹，又甚忧愁。耶稣哭了（约11：33，35）。与喜乐的人要同乐，与哀哭的人要同哭（罗12：15）。你们都要同心，彼此体恤，
