　　你是乐意饶恕人，有恩典，有怜悯（尼9：17）。　　　主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改（彼后3：9）。要以我主长久忍耐为得救的因由（彼后3：15）。　　　我蒙了怜悯，是因耶稣基督要在我这罪魁身上显明他一切的忍耐，给后来信他得永生的人作榜样（提前1：16）。从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰，可以得着盼望（罗15：4）。　　　还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢（罗2：4）？　你们要撕裂心肠，不撕裂衣服，归向耶和华你们的　神；因为他有恩典，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且后悔不降所说的灾（珥2：13）。

　　耶和华的言语是纯净的言语（诗12：6）。　　　你的话极其精炼，所以你的仆人喜爱（诗119：140）。　　　耶和华的训词正直，能快活人的心；耶和华的命令清洁，能明亮人的眼目（诗19：8）。　神的言语句句都是炼净的，投靠他的，他便作他们的盾牌。他的言语，你不可加添，恐怕他责备你，你就显为说谎言的（箴30：5，6）。　我将你的话藏在心里。我要默想你的训词，看重你的道路（诗119：11，15）。弟兄们，凡是真实的、可敬的、公义的、清洁的、可爱的、有美名的，若有什么德行，若有什么称赞，这些事你们都要思念（腓4：8）。要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长（彼前2：2）。我们不像那许多人，为利混乱　神的道，乃是由于诚实、由于　神，在　神面前凭着基督讲道（林后2：17）。不谬讲　神的道理（林后4：2）。　The　words　of　the　Lord　are　pure　words。　　　　　　　　　　Thy　word　is　very　pure：　therefore　thy　servant　loveth　it。　—　The　statutes　of　the　LORD　are　right；　rejoicing　the　heart：　the　mandment　of　the　LORD　is　pure；　enlightening　the　eyes。　—　Every　word　of　God　is　pure：　he　is　a　shield　unto　them　that　put　their　trust　in　him。　Add　thou　not　unto　his　words；　lest　he　reprove　thee；　and　thou　be　found　a　liar。
