我原知道他们的痛苦（出3：7）。 他多受痛苦，常经忧患（赛53：3）。我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱（来4：15）。他代替我们的软弱，担当我们的疾病（太8：17）。耶稣因走路困乏，就坐在井旁（约4：6）。耶稣看见他哭，并看见与他同来的犹太人也哭，就心里悲叹，又甚忧愁，耶稣哭了（约11：33，35）。他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：18）。

趁着白日，我们必须作那差我来者的工（约9：4）。 懒惰人羡慕，却无所得，殷勤人必得丰裕（箴13：4）。滋润人的，必得滋润（箴11：25）。我的食物就是遵行差我来者的旨意，作成他的工。你们岂不说：到收割的时候，还有四个月吗？我告诉你们：举目向田观看，庄稼已经熟了，可以收割了。收割的人得工价，积蓄五谷到永生，叫撒种的和收割的一同快乐（约4：34…36）。 天国好像家主清早出去，雇人进他的葡萄园作工，和工人讲定一天一钱银子，就打发他们进葡萄园去（太20：1，2）。务要传道，无论得时不得时（提后4：2）。你们去作生意，直等我回来（路19：13）。我比众使徒格外劳苦，这原不是我，乃是 神的恩与我同在（林前15：10）。 I must work the works of him that sent me； while it is day。 The soul of the sluggard desireth； and hath nothing： but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat。 — He that watereth shall be watered。

我因耶和华大大欢喜，我的心靠 神快乐（赛61：10）。
我要时时称颂耶和华，赞美他的话必常在我口中。我的心必因耶和华夸耀；谦卑人听见，就要喜乐。你们和我当称耶和华为大，一同高举他的名（诗34：l…3）。耶和华赐下恩惠和荣耀。他未尝留下一样好处不给那些行动正直的人。万军之耶和华啊，倚靠你的人便为有福（诗84：11，12）！我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华，凡在我里面的，也要称颂他的圣名（诗103：1）！你们中间有喜乐的呢，他就该歌颂（雅5：13）。 要被圣灵充满。当用诗章、颂词、灵歌彼此对说，口唱心和地赞美主。凡事要常常感谢父 神（弗5：18…20）。 心被恩感，歌颂 神（西3：16）。 约在半夜，保罗和西拉祷告唱诗赞美 神，众囚犯也侧耳而听（徒16：25）。 你们要靠主常常喜乐；我再说，你们要喜乐（腓4：4）。 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord； my soul shall be joyful in my God。 I will bless the LORD at all times： his praise shall continually be in my mouth。 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD： the humble shall hear thereof； and be glad。 O magnify the LORD with me； and let us exalt his name together。 — The LORD will give grace and glory： no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly。 O LORD of hosts； blessed is the man that trusteth in thee。 — Bless the LORD； O my soul： and all that is within me； bless his holy name。 Is any merry？ let him sing psalms。 — Be filled with the Spirit； speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs； singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD； giving thanks always for all things。 — Singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord。 At midnight Paul and Silas prayed； and sang praises unto God： and the prisoners heard them。 — Rejoice in the Lord alway： and again； I say； Rejoice。 ISA。 61：10。 Psa。 34：1…3。 …Psa。 84：11；12。 …Psa。 103：1。 Jas。 5：13。 …Eph。 5：18…20。 …Col。 3：16。 Acts 16：25。 …Phi。 4：4。
