she　could　carry　it　on　automatically　as　she　walked　to　and　fro。　But　

now　she　came　and　sat　down　opposite　Dinah；　whom　she　looked　at　

in　a　meditative　way；　as　she　knitted　her　grey　worsted　stocking。
