10：22并且你们要为我的名，被众人恨恶，惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake： but he that endureth to the end shall be saved。
10：23有人在这城逼迫你们，就逃到那城去。我实在告诉你们，以色列的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。
But when they persecute you in this city； flee ye into another： for verily I say unto you； Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel； till the Son of man be e。
10：24学生不能高过先生，仆人不能高过主人。
The disciple is not above his master； nor the servant above his lord。
10：25学生和先生一样，仆人和主人一样，也就吧了。人既骂家主是别西卜，何况他的家人呢。（别西卜是鬼王的名）
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master； and the servant as his lord。 If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub； how much more shall they call them of his household？
10：26所以不要怕他们。因为掩盖的事，没有不露出来的。隐藏的事，没有不被人知道的。
Fear them not therefore： for there is nothing covered； that shall not be revealed； and hid； that shall not be known。
10：27我在暗中告诉你们的，你们要在明处说出来。你们耳中所听的，要在房上宣扬出来。
What I tell you in darkness； that speak ye in light： and what ye hear in the ear； that preach ye upon the housetops。
10：28那杀身体不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们。惟有能把身体和灵魂都灭在地狱里的，正要怕他。
And fear not them which kill the body； but are not able to kill the soul： but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell。
10：29两个麻雀，不是卖一分银子吗。若是你们的父不许，一个也不能掉在地上。
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing？ and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father。
10：30就是你们的头发，也都被数过了。
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered。
10：31所以不要惧怕。你们比许多麻雀还贵重。
Fear ye not therefore； ye are of more value than many sparrows。
10：32凡在人面前认我的，我在我天上的父面前，也必认他。
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men； him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven。
10：33凡在人面前不认我的，我在我天上的父面前，也必不认他。
But whosoever shall deny me before men； him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven。
10：34你们不要想我来，是叫地上太平。我来并不是叫地上太平，乃是叫地上动刀兵。
Think not that I am e to send peace on earth： I came not to send peace； but a sword。
10：35因为我来，是叫人与父亲生疏，女儿与母亲生疏，媳妇与婆婆生疏。
For I am e to set a man at variance against his father； and the daughter against her mother； and the daughter in law against her mother in law。
10：36人的仇敌，就是自己家里的人。
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household。
10：37爱父母过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒，爱儿女过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒。
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me： and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me。
10：38不背着他的十字架跟从我的，也不配作我的门徒。
And he that taketh not his cross； and followeth after me； is not worthy of me。
10：39得着生命的，将要失丧生命。为我失丧生命的，将要得着生命。
He that findeth his life shall lose it： and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it。
10：40人接待你们，就是接待我。接待我，就是接待那差我来的。
He that receiveth you receiveth me； and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me。
10：41人因为先知的名接待先知，必得先知所得的赏赐，人因为义人的名接待义人，必得义人所得的赏赐。
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward； and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward。
10：42无论何人，因为门徒的名，只把一杯凉水给这小子里的一个喝，我实在告诉你们，这人不能不得赏赐。
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple； verily I say unto you； he shall in no wise lose his reward。

11：1耶稣吩咐完了十二个门徒，就离开那里，往各城去传道教训人。
And it came to pass； when Jesus had made an end of manding his twelve disciples； he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities。
11：2约翰在监里听见基督所作的事，就打发两个门徒去，
Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ； he sent two of his disciples；
11：3问他说，那将要来的是你吗，还是我们等候别人呢。
And said unto him； Art thou he that should e； or do we look for another？
11：4耶稣回答说，你们去，把所听见所看见的事告诉约翰。
Jesus answered and said unto them； Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see：
11：5就是瞎子看见，瘸子行走，长大麻疯的洁净，聋子听见。死人复活，穷人有福音传给他们。
The blind receive their sight； and the lame walk； the lepers are cleansed； and the deaf hear； the dead are raised up； and the poor have the gospel preached to them。
11：6凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了。
And blessed is he； whosoever shall not be offended in me。
11：7他们走的时候，耶稣就对众人讲论约翰说，你们从前出到旷野，是要看什么呢，要看风吹动的芦苇吗。
And as they departed； Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John； What went ye out into the wilderness to see？ A reed shaken with the wind？
11：8你们出去，到底是要看什么，要看穿细软衣服的人吗，那穿细软衣服的人，是在王宫里。
But what went ye out for to see？ A man clothed in soft raiment？ behold； they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses。
11：9你们出去，究竟是为什么，是要看先知吗。我告诉你们，是的，他比先知大多了。
But what went ye out for to see？ A prophet？ yea； I say unto you； and more than a prophet。
11：10经上记着说，我要差遣我的使者在你面前，豫备道路。所说的就是这个人。
For this is he； of whom it is written； Behold； I send my messenger before thy face； which shall prepare thy way before thee。
11：11我实在告诉你们，凡妇人所生的，没有一个兴起来大过施洗约翰的。然而天国里最小的，比他还大。
Verily I say unto you； Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist： notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he。
11：12从施洗约翰的时候到如今，天国是努力进入的，努力的人就得着了。
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence； and the violent take it by force。
11：13因为众先知和律法说预言，到约翰为止。
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John。
11：14你们若肯领受，这人就是应当来的以利亚。
And if ye will receive it； this is Elias； which was for to e。
11：15有耳可听的，就应当听。
He that hath ears to hear； let him hear。
11：16我可用什么比这世代呢。好像孩童坐在街市上，招呼同伴，说，
But whereunto shall I liken this generation？ It is like unto children sitting in the markets； and calling unto their fellows；
11：17我们向你们吹笛，你们不跳舞。我们向你们举哀，你们不捶胸。
And saying； We have piped unto you； and ye have not danced； we have mourned unto you； and ye have not lamented。
11：18约翰来了，也不吃，也不喝，人就说他是被鬼附着的。
For John came neither eating nor drinking； and they say； He hath a devil。
11：19人子来了，也吃，也喝，人又说他是贪食好酒的人，是税吏罪人的朋友。但智慧之子，总以智慧为是。（有古卷作但智慧在行为上就显为是）
The Son of man came eating and drinking； and they say； Behold a man gluttonous； and a winebibber； a friend of publicans and sinners。 But wisdom is justified of her children。
11：20耶稣在诸城中行了许多异能，那些城的人终不悔改，就在那时候责备他们说，
Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done； because they repented not：
11：21哥拉汛哪，你有祸了，伯赛大阿，你有祸了，因为在你们中间所行的异能，若行在推罗西顿，他们早已披麻蒙灰悔改了。
Woe unto thee； Chorazin！ woe unto thee； Bethsaida！ for if the mighty works； which were done in you； had been done in Tyre and Sidon； they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes。
11：22但我告诉你们，当审判的日子，推罗西顿所受的，比你们还容易呢。
But I say unto you； It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment； than for you。
11：23迦百农阿，你已经升到天上。（或作你将要升到天上吗）将来必坠落阴间。因为在你那里所行的异能，若行在所多玛，他还可以存到今日。
And thou； Capernaum； which art exalted unto heaven； shalt be brought down to hell： for if the mighty works； which have been done in thee； had been done in Sodom； it would have remained until this day。
