Because　there　is　wrath；　beware　lest　he　take　thee　away　with　his　stroke：　then　a　great　ransom　cannot　deliver　thee。
36：19你的呼求（或作资财），或是你一切的势力，果有灵验，叫你不受患难吗。
Will　he　esteem　thy　riches？　no；　not　gold；　nor　all　the　forces　of　strength。
36：20不要切慕黑夜，就是众民在本处被除灭的时候。
Desire　not　the　night；　when　people　are　cut　off　in　their　place。
36：21你要谨慎，不可重看罪孽，因你选择罪孽，过于选择苦难。
Take　heed；　regard　not　iniquity：　for　this　hast　thou　chosen　rather　than　affliction。
36：22神行事有高大的能力。教训人的有谁像他呢。
Behold；　God　exalteth　by　his　power：　who　teacheth　like　him？
36：23谁派定他的道路。谁能说，你所行的不义。
Who　hath　enjoined　him　his　way？　or　who　can　say；　Thou　hast　wrought　iniquity？
36：24你不可忘记称赞他所行的为大，就是人所歌颂的。
Remember　that　thou　magnify　his　work；　which　men　behold。
36：25他所行的，万人都看见，世人也从远处观看。
Every　man　may　see　it；　man　may　behold　it　afar　off。
36：26神为大，我们不能全知，他的年数不能测度。
Behold；　God　is　great；　and　we　know　him　not；　neither　can　the　number　of　his　years　be　searched　out。
36：27他吸取水点，这水点从云雾中就变成雨。
For　he　maketh　small　the　drops　of　water：　they　pour　down　rain　according　to　the　vapour　thereof：
36：28云彩将雨落下，沛然降与世人。
Which　the　clouds　do　drop　and　distil　upon　man　abundantly。
36：29谁能明白云彩如何铺张，和神行宫的雷声呢。
Also　can　any　understand　the　spreadings　of　the　clouds；　or　the　noise　of　his　tabernacle？
36：30他将亮光普照在自己的四围。他又遮覆海底。
Behold；　he　spreadeth　his　light　upon　it；　and　covereth　the　bottom　of　the　sea。
36：31他用这些审判众民，且赐丰富的粮食。
For　by　them　judgeth　he　the　people；　he　giveth　meat　in　abundance。
36：32他以电光遮手，命闪电击中敌人（或作中了靶子）。
With　clouds　he　covereth　the　light；　and　mandeth　it　not　to　shine　by　the　cloud　that　eth　betwixt。
36：33所发的雷声显明他的作为，又向牲畜指明要起暴风。
The　noise　thereof　sheweth　concerning　it；　the　cattle　also　concerning　the　vapour。

37：1因此我心战兢，从原处移动。
At　this　also　my　heart　trembleth；　and　is　moved　out　of　his　place。
37：2听阿，神轰轰的声音，是他口中所发的响声。
Hear　attentively　the　noise　of　his　voice；　and　the　sound　that　goeth　out　of　his　mouth。
37：3他发响声震遍天下，发电光闪到地极。
He　directeth　it　under　the　whole　heaven；　and　his　lightning　unto　the　ends　of　the　earth。
37：4随后人听见有雷声轰轰，大发威严，雷电接连不断。
After　it　a　voice　roareth：　he　thundereth　with　the　voice　of　his　excellency；　and　he　will　not　stay　them　when　his　voice　is　heard。
37：5神发出奇妙的雷声，他行大事，我们不能测透。
God　thundereth　marvellously　with　his　voice；　great　things　doeth　he；　which　we　cannot　prehend。
37：6他对雪说，要降在地上，对大雨和暴雨也是这样说。
For　he　saith　to　the　snow；　Be　thou　on　the　earth；　likewise　to　the　small　rain；　and　to　the　great　rain　of　his　strength。
37：7他封住各人的手，叫所造的万人，都晓得他的作为。
He　sealeth　up　the　hand　of　every　man；　that　all　men　may　know　his　work。
37：8百兽进入穴中，卧在洞内。
Then　the　beasts　go　into　dens；　and　remain　in　their　places。
37：9暴风出于南宫。寒冷出于北方。
Out　of　the　south　eth　the　whirlwind：　and　cold　out　of　the　north。
37：10神嘘气成冰。宽阔之水也都凝结。
By　the　breath　of　God　frost　is　given：　and　the　breadth　of　the　waters　is　straitened。
37：11他使密云盛满水气，布散电光之云。
Also　by　watering　he　wearieth　the　thick　cloud：　he　scattereth　his　bright　cloud：
37：12这云是藉他的指引游行旋转，得以在全地面上，行他一切所吩咐的，
And　it　is　turned　round　about　by　his　counsels：　that　they　may　do　whatsoever　he　mandeth　them　upon　the　face　of　the　world　in　the　earth。
37：13或为责罚，或为润地，或为施行慈爱。
He　causeth　it　to　e；　whether　for　correction；　or　for　his　land；　or　for　mercy。
37：14约伯阿，你要留心听，要站立思想神奇妙的作为。
Hearken　unto　this；　O　Job：　stand　still；　and　consider　the　wondrous　works　of　God。
37：15神如何吩咐这些，如何使云中的电光照耀，你知道吗。
Dost　thou　know　when　God　disposed　them；　and　caused　the　light　of　his　cloud　to　shine？
37：16云彩如何浮于空中，那知识全备者奇妙的作为，你知道吗。
Dost　thou　know　the　balancings　of　the　clouds；　the　wondrous　works　of　him　which　is　perfect　in　knowledge？
37：17南风使地寂静，你的衣服就如火热，你知道吗。
How　thy　garments　are　warm；　when　he　quieteth　the　earth　by　the　south　wind？
37：18你岂能与神同铺穹苍吗。这穹苍坚硬，如同铸成的镜子。
Hast　thou　with　him　spread　out　the　sky；　which　is　strong；　and　as　a　molten　looking　glass？
37：19我们愚昧不能陈说。请你指教我们该对他说什么话。
Teach　us　what　we　shall　say　unto　him；　for　we　cannot　order　our　speech　by　reason　of　darkness。
37：20人岂可说，我愿与他说话。岂有人自愿灭亡吗。
Shall　it　be　told　him　that　I　speak？　if　a　man　speak；　surely　he　shall　be　swallowed　up。
37：21现在有云遮蔽，人不得见穹苍的光亮。但风吹过，天又发晴。
And　now　men　see　not　the　bright　light　which　is　in　the　clouds：　but　the　wind　passeth；　and　cleanseth　them。
37：22金光出于北方，在神那里有可怕的威严。
Fair　weather　eth　out　of　the　north：　with　God　is　terrible　majesty。
37：23论到全能者，我们不能测度。他大有能力，有公平和大义，必不苦待人。
Touching　the　Almighty；　we　cannot　find　him　out：　he　is　excellent　in　power；　and　in　judgment；　and　in　plenty　of　justice：　he　will　not　afflict。
37：24所以，人敬畏他。凡自以为心中有智慧的人，他都不顾念。
Men　do　therefore　fear　him：　he　respecteth　not　any　that　are　wise　of　heart。

38：1那时，耶和华从旋风中回答约伯说，
Then　the　LORD　answered　Job　out　of　the　whirlwind；　and　said；
38：2谁用无知的言语，使我的旨意暗昧不明。
Who　is　this　that　darkeneth　counsel　by　words　without　knowledge？
38：3你要如勇士束腰。我问你，你可以指示我。
Gird　up　now　thy　loins　like　a　man；　for　I　will　demand　of　thee；　and　answer　thou　me。
38：4我立大地根基的时候，你在那里呢。你若有聪明，只管说吧。
Where　wast　thou　when　I　laid　the　foundations　of　the　earth？　declare；　if　thou　hast　understanding。
38：5你若晓得就说，是谁定地的尺度。是谁把准绳拉在其上。
Who　hath　laid　the　measures　thereof；　if　thou　knowest？　or　who　hath　stretched　the　line　upon　it？
38：6地的根基安置在何处。地的角石是谁安放的。
Whereupon　are　the　foundations　thereof　fastened？　or　who　laid　the　corner　stone　thereof；
38：7那时晨星一同歌唱，神的众子也都欢呼。
When　the　morning　stars　sang　together；　and　all　the　sons　of　God　shouted　for　joy？
38：8海水冲出，如出胎胞，那时谁将它关闭呢。
Or　who　shut　up　the　sea　with　doors；　when　it　brake　forth；　as　if　it　had　issued　out　of　the　womb？
38：9是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，
When　I　made　the　cloud　the　garment　thereof；　and　thick　darkness　a　swaddlingband　for　it；
38：10为它定界限，又安门和闩，
And　brake　up　for　it　my　decreed　place；　and　set　bars　and　doors；
38：11说，你只可到这里，不可越过。你狂傲的浪要到此止住。
And　said；　Hitherto　shalt　thou　e；　but　no　further：　and　here　shall　thy　proud　waves　be　stayed？
38：12你自生以来，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位。
Hast　thou　manded　the　morning　since　thy　days；　and　caused　the　dayspring　to　know　his　place；
38：13叫这光普照地的四极，将恶人从其中驱逐出来吗。
That　it　might　take　hold　of　the　ends　of　the　earth；　that　the　wicked　might　be　shaken　out　of　it？
38：14因这光，地面改变如泥上印印，万物出现如衣服一样。
It　is　turned　as　clay　to　the　seal；　and　they　stand　as　a　garment。
38：15亮光不照恶人，强横的膀臂也必折断。
And　from　the　wicked　their　light　is　withholden；　and　the　high　arm　shall　be　broken。
38：16你曾进到海源，或在深渊的隐密处行走吗。
Hast　thou　entered　into　the　springs　of　the　sea？　or　hast　thou　walked　in　the　search　of　the　depth？
38：17死亡的门曾向你显露吗。死荫的门你曾见过吗。
Have　the　gates　of　death　been　opened　unto　thee？　or　hast　thou　seen　the　doors　of　the　shadow　of　death？
38：18地的广大你能明透吗。你若全知道，只管说吧。
Hast　thou　perceived　the　breadth　of　the　earth？　declare　if　thou　knowest　it　all。
38：19光明的居所从何而至。黑暗的本位在于何处。
Where　is　the　way　where　light　dwelleth？　and　as　for　darkness；　where　is　the　place　thereof；
38：20你能带到本境，能看明其室之路吗。
That　thou　shouldest　take　it　to　the　bound　thereof；　and　that　thou　shouldest　know　the　paths　to　the　house　thereof？
38：21你总知道，因为你早已生在世上，你日子的数目也多。
Knowest　thou　it；　because　thou　wast　then　born？　or　because　the　number　of　thy　days　is　great？
38：22你曾进入雪库。或见过雹仓吗。
Hast　thou　entered　into　the　treasures　of　the　snow？　o
